The Power of Category and Networking
Mathematics Education Phenomena, this is still matter a phenomena. If we want make this phenomena become science of teaching learning mathematics we need “bottom to top” mind. Bottom to top means there are references we need to get the theory of what we get in mathematics phenomena. The references are some theories, from books, journal, research report, etc. There are so many science of teaching learning mathematics, we can take an example of “student’s mathematics thinking” and we take the theory of Katagiri (2004) assume that student’s mathematics thinking has three aspects, there are attitude, method, and content.

From that table we can say that we need attitude, method, and content to make a pattern. We need all of those three when we make problem solving, do an investigation, and have a communication either.
We need to bring the result of our research to the previous to get evidences and we make a step forward to make analysis. And we can get instrument from that table above, there are so many types of instrument of research there are observation that can be check list, essay, etc, then questions to the teachers, questions to the students, and so on.
Then we need to analysis the product that we get from the instrument to reduce conclusion.

How to Uncover the Psychology Phenomena
The solution to control traumatic is communication. There is a communication between people that get traumatic so that he/she can escape from that feeling. The problem arises when there is a different perception to see an event, first person assume that it is wrong but second person say it is alright. Different assumption can happened because of different level of communication. Different level communication divided into two types, first high level communication and then low level communication. In high level communication a person can understand a conversation quickly and with deep understanding. But in low level communication there is only simple communication because they won’t understand or even don’t care with a higher term.
Another difference is an activity. People that always have a daily work in an office don’t want to talk about something too long or too hard because they have a schedule that cannot be missed. A person, having so much free time from their activity, likes to think something deeply to do tomorrow because they want to try everything.
An effective communication is a dynamics communication, so it is flexible and contextual. Communication should follow the people who have conversation and see about time and place where it’s used by people. An effective communication makes people get readiness, in education makes student become apperception, and in philosophy make people get awareness. Apperception from student come from sensation, sensation coma from the five senses, and then it grows into perception, after that become a concept that always being held in their life. Then concept becomes an apperception of their life.
Traumatic can happen to everyone and can happen in every aspects of life. In politic traumatic can be assumed as authoritative. Authoritative means cannot be explained. In philosophy, traumatic can be assumed as accident. People who get accident in their life can shock their life and get traumatic.
In this side, psychology tries to fight against authoritative on object (student) so that will not give student traumatic. Student can learn with their will to see the world without fear of something that thay get from school, from teacher or from their lesson. They will free their mind to express what they know, and teacher will help them to find the way.

Mthematical Thinking and Scientific Work
People should start or to establish formal mathematics as a system:
Should have an assumption.
It usually a concept and definition; both of them should have their base. The mathematics’ objects are their own opinion, ideas, and so on.
2. Should have an object.
To get mathematics’ object we can get it from the existence and the possibility of the existence. There are two ways to get mathematics object from concrete object:
a. Use idealisms method; it means consider all things are on the perfect form
b. Abstraction method; that believe certain characteristic.
Mathematical thinking is consistent. There is mathematics logic, that separated into daily logic, formal logic, mathematics operation, if then statement (table of truth), and so on. Some of mathematics operation examples are multiplication, root, square root, and the others. From “if then statement (table of truth)”, how to get conclusion from sentence? We have premises that consist of thesis (true sentence), antithesis (contradictive with thesis), and hypothesis (temporary thesis).
Relevancy mathematical thinking with science work
Science work’s characteristics are impersonal, have a standard, and objective. One of science work’s creations is scientific paper that has characteristics have an ethics, conclusion, recommendation, reference, and so on. We make some of science work’s creations is using mathematical thinking. so that, scientific work is a media to publish mathematical thinking.

1. x minus five equals 3
in this case we are looking for the value of variable x.
x – 5 = 3
first we put additional equation on both sides, in this case we adding five (5) as a additional equation.
x – 5 + 5 = 3 + 5
And now we can the value of variable x. It is eight (8).
x = 8
2. seven equals four times x minus one
in this case we are looking for the value of variable a.
7 = 4a – 1
We put the additional equation too on in this case, and in this case we put one (1).
1 + 7 = 4a – 1 + 1
So that we get eight equals four times a.
8 = 4a
Then, we must over both sides with four so that we can get the value of variable a. And the result was two (2).
a = 4
3. two thirth times x equals eight
in this case we should find the value of variable x.
2/3x = 8
Now we must times both sides with the oposites of the constanta of variable and the oposite of two thirth is three second.
3/2 . 2/3 x = 8 . 3/2
we get x on the left side and we must over eight with two then times the result with three. Then we can get the value of variable x.
x = 12
4. five minus two times x equals three times x plus one
we must find the value of variable x.
5 – 2x = 3x + 1
First we must put an additional equation on both sides and I adding minus five (-5), so we can get
(-5) + 5 – 2x = 3x + 1 + (- 5)
then we must adding more additional equation with variable x. And we can add minus three times x (-3x)
- 2x = 3x – 4
-2x + (– 3x) = 3x – 4 + (– 3x)
and then we can get minus five times x equals to minus four.
-5x = -4
Now we must over both sides with minus five.
-5x/(-5) = -4/(-5)
so we can get the value of variable x, it is four fifth.
x = 4/5
5. three minus five open bracket two times m minus five close bracket equals minus two
In this case we are looking for the value of variable m.
3 – 5(2m – 5) = -2
First we must times five with two times m minus five. So we can get the full form of it is three minus ten times m plus twenty five equals minus two.
3 – 10m + 25 = -2
We can adding three with minus twenty five on left sides then we get minus ten times m plus minus twenty eight equals minus two
-10m + 28 = -2
Then we put additional equation minus twenty eight (-28)
– 10m + 28 + (-28) = -2 + (-28)
so that we can minus ten times m equals minus tirty
-10m = -30
and we must over both sides with minus ten (-10) so that we can get the value of variable m, it is three
-10m/(-10) = -30/ (-10)
à m = 3
6. a half times x plus a quarter equals one third times x plus five forth
we must find the value of variable x from
½ x + ¼ = 1/3x + 5/4
first we must adding an additional equation and we put minus a quarter (- ¼)
½ x + ¼ + (- ¼) = 1/3x + 5/4 + (- ¼)
so we can get a half times x equals one third times x plus four forth (four forth equals one)
½ x = 1/3x + 1
then we put another aditional equation, now we put minus one third.
½ x + (-1/3x) = 1/3x + 1+ (-1/3x)
and we get one sixth equals one, the last step is multiply both sides by six
1/6x = 1
1/6x . 6 = 1 . 6
x = 6
so we get the value of variable x and it is six
7. oh point thirty five times x minus oh point two equals oh point fifteen times x plus oh point one
in this case we must get the value of variable x
0,35x – 0,2 = 0,15x + 0,1
first we must adding an additional equation and we can adding minus oh point one
0,35x – 0,2 + (-0,1) = 0,15x + 0,1 + (-0,1)
the we get oh point thirty five times x minus oh point three equals oh point fifteen times x, then we adding another additional equation, but now we adding minus oh point fifteen times x. We get
0,35x – 0,3 + (-0,15x) = 0,15x + (-0,15x)
à 0,20x – 0,3 = 0
and we adding oh point three, then we over both sides by oh point twenty
0,20x – 0,3 + 0,3 = 0 + 0,3
à 0,20x = 0,3
à 0,20x/0,20 = 0,3/0,20
so x equals one point seventy five

Exponen Rule on Logarithm Equation
We already know some exponent rules, like
x to the power of a times x to the power b equals x to the power of a plus b
x to the power of a over x to the power b equals x to the power of a minus b
x to the power of a in bracet to the power of b equals x to the power of a times b
So we can use these exponent rules to proof some logarithm equations.
First we can proof about logarithm basic x of a equals be, so we can find the value of a. Then logarithm basic x of open bracket a to the power of B close bracket, we can change it with B times logarithm basic x of open bracket A. After that we can prove that logarithm basic x of A plus logarithm basic x of B equals logarithm basic x open bracket A times B close bracket is equals. And the last we can proof that logarithm basic x of A minus logarithm basic x of B equals logarithm basic x open bracket A over B close bracket is equals.
From all these videos I can find some mathematics equations, and we can get the way to solve it too. We can get the way to learn mathematics is not only with a serious condition but we can learn it by interesting way.

My Reflection in Learning English
My third posting is about my reflection in learning English. A few days ago, I have a test in Bahasa Inggris II lesson to see how well my understanding in English about mathematics terms. Mr. Marsigit, my lecturer said the Indonesian word and I must translate it into English. It was so shocking for me even Mr. Marsigit already told me about that test before. And I only able to answer about 18 words from 50 words that given by Mr. Marsirgit. It was so disappointing because the limit to pass the test at least I should answer about 25 words or more. Because of this test I realize that I am not as good asIi though before. Sometimes I got lucky to answer about English test and now I know that my knowledge is still so less, that’s why I should learn more and more.
In this test I face a problem about the English language in mathematics term. I used to use English language in conversation and so rare use it on mathematics lesson. So that so many words that I’ve forget. The other problem is about the writings in English language is different from the spelling, but on the test Mr. Marsigit didn’t look too deep to the writing at least we have the same point with the true word it was good enough.
This test teaches me about my own reflection. Like Mr Marsigit said after the test, if we look into a mirror and see our reflection and we don’t like our reflection, we always choose break the mirror than change our face. It was so wrong because we can’t to be better if we do not see what we’ve done yesterday and make it better today. We should learn from yesterday and never do the same mistake again, but if we still do the same mistake again and again. That’s mean we never able to change our face to be better.
If we want to change our face to be better we should improve our competent and there are so many ways to improve it. One of the ways is making used the references, we can learn about a lot of things from those references. One of the ways to find a reference is using internet, because from the Internet we can see whole world without get there. And so many important information that we can used to improve our competent. Beside from Internet we can also looking for toefl CD from market and learn it by ourselves to improve our competent in English. But we should make sure that our references are a right reference because if we take wrong references it will be pervert us.
Our competent in mathematics is what really mathematics? We should able to answer this question so that we will able to improve our competent in mathematics. One of the answers is mathematics thinking always starts with our assumption. We can’t get our mathematics thinking without our assumption about mathematics, mathematics formula, and so on. With an assumption we will able to develop critical thinking to solve mathematics problem. The other answers are the concept of mathematics, we should understand the concept of mathematics, it will help us to understand what really mathematics. We can understand about the concept of mathematics by knowing the definition of current concept, then establish axiom, and make a theorem that we used to solving the problem of mathematics. The truth of mathematics is logic and constant, logic means that able to be understand from the reality and constant means there are no more contradiction about it.
I think that’s all about my reflection in learning English that day and I know I will change my face and make it looks better than break the mirror and ignoring my own reflection.
The Definition of Mathematics
The structure of mathematics is deductive. There are the definitions, Axiom, theorem, rule, pattern, and so on, that compose logically and there are no more contradiction. The characteristic of mathematics is logic and consistence. The conjuncture is to think, to predict, etc. And convince is to communicate the result.
Mathematics has 3 aspects there are mathematics attitude, mathematics method, and mathematics content. Good attitude in mathematics means always have a question, to be consistence, to be critical, and so on. Good attitude will help us to know about mathematics more, with those attitudes we will easily learn in mathematics. Then, the method to learn mathematics. There is deductive, inductive, syllogism, logic, and prove. Deductive means from the general to the specifics, we can take the example from trapezium, we explain about the characteristic about it and then we go to more specific such as a square.
The inductive ways is from the specific to the general, we can take an example from a square and then we explain about a trapezium. Then, we talk about syllogism that takes conclusion from premises. It’s like A is a square, a square is one of trapezium, so we can conclude that A is a trapezium. Next is logic, it’s about the mathematics sentences. Mathematics sentences are like 3 is a prime number. The last one is prove, we can learn mathematics from proving a theorem. One of the examples is when we prove Pythagoreans theory.
The last aspects of mathematics are its content. We should jump into the content of mathematics so we can understand it completely without a missing part of it, because if we lost some parts we can learn it well.
There are many explanations about the definition of mathematics, even so there are so many opinions that describe about mathematics’ definition. And in my opinion mathematics is the mother of knowledge. Mathematics is the root knowledge, that’s why in university even we are in chemicals, physics, biology, economy, and so on we still learn about mathematics too. An Introduction to Bahasa Inggris 2
There are some precondition to work in Bahasa Inggris 2, especially when we are doing a comunication in English.
There are:
1. Motivation
A motivation is so important when we learn about English, as know that motivation is give a big impact to our feeling to something. With a good motivation to learn about new thing, we able increase our spirit to get more and more information that we need about Bahasa Inggris 2. And if we have good motivation it will make us enjoy the lesson so that we can understand about English better than we have a bad mood.
2. Atitude
After we have a good motivation, we should have a good atitude. As we know that Indonesian country is a cultural country (negara berbudaya) so that make Indonesian people put an atitude in a high place. We as an Indonesian people and as a student of a university, we should have a good atitude to take care of our own culture. On the other hand, if we have a good atitude we can learn about English better because we will get respect if we respect the other too.
3. Understanding
Understanding is so important in learning English. Without a good understanding in English we can "get lost" about it. It's mean if we can't understand it we should looking for the right answer, if we aren't do that we will give a wrong answer for the rest of time. A good understanding can make us easily learn English, as we can see that learning English need understanding about the meaning, the spelling, the words, and so on. So that we should have good understanding and we should develop.
4. Skill
Everybody has a skill, but we have a good skill in a lot of sides. One of them is a skill in English, a skill will make us faster, easier and better learning in English. This is because we already have a good skill to get the right meaning in English. Sometimes skill is a gift to us, so we should develop it to make us get better in English. If we aren't develop our skill it will be burried because we aren't use it for a good thing such as learning English. But some of skills isn't gift, we should build it, it's mean we can have a skill if we want to build it and learn it too. So that we should develop it if you have a good skill in English and we should build a skill about it too.
5. Experience
As we know that experience is the best teacher. Experience will make us able to aware about what we will face in the future. We need a lot of experiences to be a lesson in a future, without an experience we will blind about information in English. And if we have an experience about a problem we will able to solve it better than without an experience before. An experience will teach us to know better about a lot of things that we aren't learn in university, but we need it too be a better future.
I think that's all that I can write for now.
